Power forward Quincy Acy has agreed to a two-year deal with the Sacramento Kings, according to RealGM's Shams Charania.
The second year of the contract will include a player option.
Acy was selected with the No. 37 pick in the 2012 NBA Draft by the Toronto Raptors, playing 36 games with the franchise before being dealt to the Kings near the end of 2013 in a package to acquire Rudy Gay.
His stint with the Kings didn't last long, though, as the now 24-year-old Baylor alumnus was traded to the New York Knicks in August of 2014.
Acy put up the best numbers of his career over the course of 68 games last season in the Bronx, averaging 5.9 points and 4.4 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per game.
Now back with the Kings, Acy rejoins a roster that's dramatically different from the one he last competed for, with Rajon Rondo, Kosta Koufos, Marco Belinelli, and Caron Butler now all in town.
Acy is a quality energy big off the bench who isn't afraid to get physical in the paint. There's not much depth to his game, but in limited minutes, Acy will give head coach George Karl an aggressive second-unit player.
