Report: Bulls to host Cavaliers in 2015-16 season opener
NBA fans will be treated to a rematch of the 2015 Eastern Conference semifinals on opening night of the 2015-16 season.
The Chicago Bulls will reportedly host the reigning East champion Cleveland Cavaliers on October 27, according to the Chicago Tribune's K.J. Johnson.
The two teams' first meeting of the regular season should be an entertaining introduction to a new season following a wild offseason of player movement.
The Golden State Warriors are also tentatively scheduled to play the New Orleans Pelicans at home on opening night, according to The Times-Picayune's John Reid.
Johnson also reported that the Bulls will face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder as part of the league's Christmas Day quintuple-header. Both teams will be led by newly minted head coaches - Fred Hoiberg (Bulls) and Billy Donovan (Thunder).
The full version of the 2015-16 schedule will be released for public consumption on Wednesday at 6 p.m. ET.
