Report: Pedro agrees to terms with Manchester United ahead of transfer from Barcelona
Manchester United's capture of Pedro from Barcelona appears to be on the verge of completion after the Spanish international agreed to personal terms with the Premier League side.
The agreement between the forward and United, as reported by Guillem Balague of Sky Sports, is one of the final steps in the process of completing the transfer.
The two clubs will now have to come to an agreement on a transfer fee, which is expected to be north of £20 million. Barcelona seems unwilling to budge from the £21.2-million release clause in the talented forward's contract.
Balague reports that United's executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, is in Barcelona and that a deal will be completed "this week one way or another." He also suggests that Pedro has decided to leave the Catalan giants, though Barcelona may attempt to convince him to stay one last time.
Pedro's inclusion in the team's last three matches ahead of the new season is perhaps a last-ditch effort by the Spanish team to persuade him against a move away.
