The grand jury investigation into sexual assault allegations against Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane, which was set to begin Tuesday, has been postponed, sources tell Lou Michel of the Buffalo News.
The reason for the postponement reportedly appears to be ongoing settlement talks between the attorneys for both the victim and Kane.
It was reported Friday that the case was heading to an Erie Country grand jury Tuesday, where Kane and the accuser were expected to testify.
