The club hasn't disclosed terms, but Klefbom will reportedly earn a shade over $29 million throughout the contract, which works out to a little more than $4 million per season.
Klefbom still has one season left on his rookie deal.
The 22-year-old tallied two goals, 22 points, and totaled 102 blocked shots last season, eventually playing top-pairing minutes.
He was drafted with the 19th overall pick in 2011.
