Players react to Utley's controversial Game 2 slide
There are various opinions on whether or not Chase Utley's slide in Game 2 of the National League Division Series that broke the leg of Ruben Tejada was dirty, uncalled for, or even unprofessional.

Although Utley had the support of his Los Angeles Dodgers teammates after the game, several New York Mets players, including David Wright, Kelly Johnson, and Michael Cuddyer, openly voiced their displeasure with Utley - and a number of others around baseball shared the Mets' sentiments.

Major League Baseball's chief baseball officer Joe Torre will continue to study footage of the play and will decide if Utley receives any kind of discipline.
