DFS: Week 6 Wide Receiver Value Rankings
Here's a look at theScore's wide receiver value rankings for Week 6 (Thursday night game excluded):
Value Rankings
QB | RB | WR | TE
Top 5
# | NAME | OPPONENT | RISK |
---|---|---|---|
1 | DeAndre Hopkins (HOU) | at JAC | Low |
2 | Randall Cobb (GB) | vs. SD | Low |
3 | Larry Fitzgerald (ARI) | at PIT | Low |
4 | Brandon Marshall (NYJ) | vs. WAS | Low |
5 | Calvin Johnson (DET) | vs. CHI | Low |
No wide receiver is more targeted than Hopkins, who should see his usual heavy workload against the host Jaguars and is still reasonably priced for both his floor and ceiling. Fitzgerald is staring at yet another plus matchup with the defensively challenged Steelers, while Marshall will be rested and ready to continue his renaissance season at home against Washington.
Next 5
# | NAME | OPPONENT | RISK |
---|---|---|---|
6 | Allen Robinson (JAC) | vs. HOU | Low |
7 | Julian Edelman (NE) | at IND | Low |
8 | Odell Beckham Jr. (NYG) | at PHI | Low |
9 | Jarvis Landry (MIA) | at TEN | Low |
10 | Jordan Matthews (PHI) | vs. NYG | Low |
It's apparent the Jaguars are going to air it out a lot this season - and Robinson has emerged as a great weekly option for a player priced in the mid-tier of most DFS sites. Beckham should eat against the Eagles' questionable secondary, while Matthews gets another chance to return value in a great matchup after disappointing in Week 5.

# | NAME | OPPONENT | RISK |
---|---|---|---|
11 | Emmanuel Sanders (DEN) | at CLE | Low |
12 | Demaryius Thomas (DEN) | at CLE | Low |
13 | Jeremy Maclin (KC) | at MIN | Low |
14 | T.Y. Hilton (IND) | vs. NE | Low |
15 | Allen Hurns (JAC) | vs. HOU | Low |
16 | James Jones (GB) | vs. SD | Medium |
17 | Eric Decker (NYJ) | vs. WAS | Medium |
18 | Anquan Boldin (SF) | vs. BAL | Medium |
19 | Marquess Wilson (CHI) | at DET | Medium |
20 | A.J. Green (CIN) | at BUF | Medium |
21 | Sammy Watkins (BUF) | vs. CIN | Medium |
22 | Kendall Wright (TEN) | vs. MIA | Medium |
23 | Jamison Crowder (WAS) | at NYJ | Medium |
24 | Keenan Allen (SD) | at GB | Medium |
25 | Steve Smith Sr. (BAL) | at SF | Medium |
Like Robinson, Hurns has been a major beneficiary of the Jaguars' pass-happy attack is a strong play this week. Decker has scored a touchdown all three weeks he has played - and is a good bet to extend that streak this Sunday against the Redskins - while Smith is a terrific play if he returns from a back injury that kept him out of the Ravens' Week 5 loss to the Browns.

26 | Pierre Garcon (WAS) | at NYJ | Medium |

28 | Kamar Aiken (BAL) | at SF | Medium |
29 | Danny Amendola (NE) | at IND | Medium |
30 | Donte Moncrief (IND) | vs. NE | Medium |
31 | Antonio Brown (PIT) | vs. ARI | High |
32 | Golden Tate (DET) | vs. CHI | High |
33 | Travis Benjamin (CLE) | vs. DEN | High |
34 | Andre Johnson (IND) | vs. NE | High |
35 | Torrey Smith (SF) | vs. BAL | High |
36 | Rishard Matthews (MIA) | at TEN | High |
37 | Rueben Randle (NYG) | at PHI | High |
38 | Mike Wallace (MIN) | vs. KC | High |
39 | Percy Harvin (BUF) | vs. CIN | High |
40 | Ted Ginn Jr. (CAR) | at SEA | High |
Few expected Antonio Brown to ever be featured in this section of the value rankings - but as long as Michael Vick is under center in Pittsburgh, the Steelers' No. 1 receiver needs to be avoided. Fliers in this section include Moncrief, who should see a lot of work against the formidable Patriots, and Randle, who is also in for a busy day against the high-flying Eagles.
