Wade: 'LeBron knows we are coming for him'

The Cleveland Cavaliers were one of the last two teams standing when the NBA Finals got underway in June.

As representatives of the Eastern Conference, LeBron James and company engaged in a thrilling six-game series with the Golden State Warriors.

Meanwhile, a potential rivalry brews out East between James and his former team, the Miami Heat.

The initiator of said competitive clash: Dwyane Wade.

This juicy - albeit obvious - statement by James' off-court friend/on-court foe is part of an interview with ESPN's Stephen A. Smith released Wednesday.

As Smith is wont to do, he prods the 33-year-old future Hall of Famer about whether the Cavs - decimated by injuries to their key players in last season's playoffs - seem vulnerable heading into the 2015-16 campaign.

"In this league, it's about who's the healthiest. It's not about who's the best all the time," he said.

While several Heat players remain on the mend from their respective ailments, Wade and his hardwood comrades must maintain a clean bill of health themselves in order to deliver on plans to dethrone "King James."

Hoopheads won't have to wait long to see Miami take aim at Cleveland for the first of three times this season.

The Cavs host the Heat on Oct. 30.
