Arizona Coyotes forward Antoine Vermette is day to day with a lower-body injury, head coach Dave Tippett announced following Thursday's 4-1 loss to the New York Rangers.
The cause of Vermette's departure was originally unknown, but he was seen heading to the Coyotes locker room during the second period accompanied by the team's trainer, and did not return for the start of the third period.
The 33-year-old has no points in seven games this season.
