Agent: Victor Valdes wants to remain in Premier League
Victor Valdes' agent, Gines Carvajal, has confirmed that the shot stopper is keen to remain in the Premier League if he manages to engineer a move from Manchester United in January.
The Spaniard's relationship with manager Louis van Gaal is at an all-time low after the goalkeeper allegedly refused to represent the Under-21s over the summer and doesn't buy into the Dutchman's philosophy at Old Trafford.

A move to Besiktas failed to materialise over the summer, and a move away from the Red Devils will be explored again when the next window opens in the new year.
"We are relying on Manchester United letting Victor go," Carvajal told Sam Long of the Evening Standard. "The Premier League is very attractive and Valdes want to stay because he has adapted perfectly to England, but we are not closing the door to any options.
"There are still two months until the transfer window opens and there is nothing concrete, but the intention is to leave Manchester United."
Numerous clubs have been reported to have interest in the World Cup winner and three-time Champions League victor, although links to Newcastle United have intensified since its first-choice 'keeper, Tim Krul, was ruled out for the season with a ruptured ACL earlier this month.
