Should the New York Mets win Game 2 by one run, Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost might come to regret the move he didn't make.
During the fourth inning Wednesday, Yost elected to not challenge a safe call at first base, after umpire Mike Winters ruled that Eric Hosmer's foot came off the bag as he reached for Mike Moustakas' throw.
Replays, however, appeared to show Hosmer's foot still on the bag after catching the ball, and before Yoenis Cespedes made contact with the base. Despite the close call, Yost decided against using one of his two replay reviews.

The Mets went on to score the first run of the game one play later when Lucas Duda lifted a shallow fly into left field.
