Debuchy to reconsider Arsenal role in January
Mathieu Debuchy will reassess his role with Arsenal during the winter transfer window.
Although the right-back has seen a boost in playing time - starting in Arsenal's last two games - he will likely find himself on the bench when Hector Bellerin returns from injury.
Adding to his frustrations was his exclusion from France's international team for friendly matches against England and Germany.
"I am dealing with it,” Debuchy said, according to Canal+. “I am trying to stay strong. We are going to remain concentrated until December, after that I will see."
Injuries have plagued Debuchy throughout his time at Arsenal since joining the North London side from Newcastle United in the summer of 2014.
Debuchy, who signed a four-year deal at the time of his transfer, was the club's first-choice right-back to begin his career at the Emirates. A month into his arrival, an ankle injury sidelined him for three months, followed by a dislocated shoulder that led to the emergence of Bellerin as manager Arsene Wenger's preferred option at right-back.
