Griezmann confirms sister escaped Paris concert hall safely
France forward Antoine Griezmann confirmed that his sister, who was at the Paris venue targeted by gunmen in one of several attacks on Friday evening, made a safe escape amid the carnage.
The Bataclan was the site of a mass shooting, as well as a hostage situation, where approximately 100 people died as the attackers seized the building.

Griezmann's sister had attended the concert hall to see American band Eagles of Death Metal, like so many others. "Thank God my sister was able to get out," Griezmann wrote on Twitter. "All my prayers are with the victims and their families."
Grâce à Dieu ma soeur a pu sortir du Bataclan. Toutes mes prières vont aux victimes et leurs familles. #ViveLaFrance

Griezmann started in the friendly match against Germany at the Stade de France, located in the northern outskirts of Paris. Two suicide attacks and a bombing occurred just outside the football ground, the sounds of which could be heard on the television broadcast.
The match, a 2-0 win for France, reached its conclusion without delay.
