Andrew Hammond will remain on the shelf for the Ottawa Senators.
The goaltender was hurt in practice on Nov. 15 after taking a puck to the mask, and has remained on injured reserve since then. On Monday, head coach Dave Cameron said that Hammond's "stalled" in his recovery, according to TSN 1200's Ian Mendes.
Hammond last played on Nov. 12 against the Vancouver Canucks, and he took a couple of pucks to the mask in that game, too.
While the Senators haven't disclosed the exact nature of Hammond's injury, it's reasonable to assume that the 27-year-old may be dealing with concussion symptoms.
Craig Anderson will start Tuesday in Dallas, the club confirmed. The club called up Chris Driedger on Monday, and he'll serve as the backup.
