Pittsburgh Penguins fans saw a scary sight Friday when they witnessed their captain take a vicious cross-check to the back of the neck.
Columbus Blue Jackets forward Brandon Dubinsky gave Sidney Crosby a dangerous cross-check to the back of the neck and seemed to break his stick in the process.
Dubinsky was assessed a two-minute minor for cross-checking, but could face a more significant penalty.
The Department of Player Safety announced shortly after the game that it has booked Dubinsky for a hearing.
