DFS: Saturday's Power Forward Value Rankings
Here are theScore's power forward value rankings for Saturday, December 5 (excluding players from Denver-Philadelphia and Golden State-Toronto, due to the early start times)
Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C
Top Options
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Blake Griffin (LAC) | vs. ORL | 9 |
Derrick Favors (UTA) | vs. IND | 9 |
DeMarcus Cousins (SAC) | at HOU | 8 |
Kristaps Porzingis (NY) | at MIL | 8 |
Griffin has been extremely consistent and is fit for both cash games and GPPs. There is no reason he shouldn't be in at least one of your lineups Saturday.
Favors is in a fantastic spot to provide value with Rudy Gobert out and is also suitable for all game formats.
Cousins may be listed as a center depending on your DFS provider.
Porzingis is starting to see big minutes and has posted back-to-back double-doubles.
Best of the Rest
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Chris Bosh (MIA) | vs. CLE | 7 |
Kevin Love (CLE) | at MIA | 7 |
Marvin Williams (CHA) | at CHI | 7 |
Tristan Thompson (CLE) | at MIA | 7 |
Trevor Booker (UTA) | vs. IND | 6 |
LaMarcus Aldridge (SA) | vs. BOS | 6 |
Bosh is a steal in terms of pricing especially for the consistency he provides. Roster him in cash games.
Williams should be more productive with Al Jefferson out, but he plays a tough defensive team in Chicago.
Booker, like Favors, jumps in value with Gobert out.
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Ed Davis (POR) | at MIN | 6 |
Amir Johnson (BOS) | at SA | 5 |
Taj Gibson (CHI) | vs. CHA | 5 |
Jordan Hill (IND) | at UTA | 5 |
Terrence Jones (HOU) | vs. SAC | 4 |
Nikola Mirotic (CHI) | vs. CHA | 4 |
Davis has seen 20-plus minutes in six of his last seven games and has been very productive with that time. He's a strong value play in a GPP.
Gibson is another name to watch Saturday with Mirotic unlikely to play due to a possible concussion.
Jones falls with Clint Capela out-playing him, and again Mirotic is unlikely to play.
Nothing to See Here
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Josh Smith (LAC) | vs. ORL | 4 |
Jabari Parker (MIL) | vs. NY | 4 |
Nemanja Bjelica (MIN) | vs. POR | 4 |
Cody Zeller (CHA) | at CHI | 3 |
John Henson (MIL) | vs. NY | 3 |
Smith has been surprisingly productive despite only seeing minutes in the mid-teens. He could be worth a GPP roster spot but his limited minutes are worrisome.
Parker has been better of late but shouldn't be trusted just yet.
