VIDEO: Hudler scores late, Gaudreau caps comeback with OT hat-trick goal
The Calgary Flames appeared to be done, until they weren't.
After allowing a penalty-shot goal to Brad Marchand late in the third period, Jiri Hudler tied Friday's game against the Boston Bruins with 1.2 seconds remaining in regulation for the latest game-tying goal in an eventual win in franchise history, according to Elias.
After a back-and-forth extra frame through 3:20, Johnny Gaudreau took a nice feed from Dougie Hamilton - whose slash had led Marchand's earlier goal - and buried his third of the night into the Bruins' net to cap a wild comeback win.
The game also featured a combined three goals in 46 seconds and a ridiculous glove save by Karri Ramo, making it one of the more entertaining games to date this season.
.@johngaudreau03 is 2nd in @NHLFlames history to record a hat trick w/ 3rd goal scored in OT. Other: E. Beers, 10/30/83 vs VAN. @EliasSports
