Monday's Power Forward Value Rankings

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

Here are theScore's power forward value rankings for Monday, December 14's 10-game slate:

Value Rankings

PG | SG | SF | PF | C

Top Options

Name Opponent Value
Kenneth Faried (DEN) vs. HOU 10
LaMarcus Aldridge (SA) vs. UTA 9
Derrick Favors (UTA) at SA 9
Anthony Davis (NO) at POR 8
Dirk Nowitzki (DAL) vs. PHX 8

Faried should log heavy minutes and fill the stat sheet against the fast-paced Rockets; a double-double plus healthy block and assist contributions is in the cards. Aldridge should feast on the Rudy Gobert-less Jazz frontcourt; Favors has moved to center since the Frechman's injury and offers strong production despite being undersized.

Davis has the highest ceiling but doesn't come cheap. Nowitzki has had an amazingly strong season, and piles up points, rebounds, blocks and assists.

Best of the Rest

Name Opponent Value
Blake Griffin (LAC) at DET 8
Chris Bosh (MIA) at ATL 8
Paul Millsap (ATL) vs. MIA 7
Thaddeus Young (BKN) vs. ORL 7
Ersan Ilyasova (DET) vs. LAC 7
Jon Leuer (PHX) at DAL 7
Luis Scola (TOR) at IND 7
Andrew Nicholson (ORL) at BKN 6
Zach Randolph (MEM) vs. WAS 6
Nikola Mirotic (CHI) vs. PHI 6
Nerlens Noel (PHI) at CHI 6
Trevor Booker (UTA) at SA 6
Terrence Jones (HOU) at DEN 5
Ed Davis (POR) vs. NO 5
Jordan Hill (IND) vs. TOR 5
Patrick Patterson (TOR) at IND 5

Arguable the deepest position in fantasy basketball, there are no shortage of productive options at high and medium price points. Randolph was moved to the bench Sunday, and may continue there Monday, given Washington's small-ball proclivity. Mirotic's minutes have fluctuated in the wake of changes to Chicago's starting lineup. Noel may miss out with an eye injury suffered Sunday; if so, nominal SF Jerami Grant would likely be deployed as a small-ball PF.

Nothing to See Here

Name Opponent Value
Taj Gibson (CHI) vs. PHI 4
Trey Lyles (UTA) at SA 4
Boris Diaw (SA) vs. UTA 4
Markieff Morris (PHX) at DAL 1

Morris has been benched in favor of Leuer and is a threat to see either limited minutes or a DNP-CD; avoid him completely for the time being. Lyles starts, but is usually quickly replaced by Booker.
