Saturday marked Stephen Curry's return from a two-game absence, but he departed the Golden State Warriors' contest against the Denver Nuggets at halftime and didn't return.
Curry was apparently hit in the same spot on the shin that sidelined him for the previous two games. He played 14 minutes and scored five points, shooting 2-of-6 from the field.
The Warriors suddenly found themselves undermanned, as they're also without center Festus Ezeli and small forward Brandon Rush, who was filling in for starter Harrison Barnes. They only had eight players available for the second half versus the Nuggets, but went on to win the game in overtime.
Wednesday and Thursday marked the first time Curry missed consecutive games since November 2013.
