Report: Bournemouth attempting to hijack Watford's deal for Juan Iturbe
Don't emblazon Juan Iturbe's name on your Watford kit just yet.
The Roma winger, 22, was widely expected to join the high-flying Hornets during the January transfer window, with a deal between the sides reportedly agreed upon.

However, Bournemouth is attempting to swoop in and hijack the deal, offering the Italian side a larger transfer fee and the player himself a better wage package, reports Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia.
Where the diminutive Argentine winger ends up remains to be seen, but this seems sure: he will be going somewhere. Last week, just 18 months after a high-priced move to the Italian capital, Iturbe posted a lengthy farewell message on Twitter:
"Whatever the decision I will take or that will be taken on my future, I wanted to take this opportunity to give affectionate thanks to the city of Rome and all the Roma fans ...
"Unfortunately things didn’t go the way I’d hoped at the club. I am the first to feel bad about that. Disappointment and defeat in life must be faced with the same dignity as success and victory.
"The only guarantee is I wore the Giallorossi jersey with pride and honour. I always gave 100 per cent and I never held back.
"For the Roma shirt I suffered, I cried and I celebrated. But you must also have the courage and humility in life and you must continue to believe in yourself.
"Maybe this is only a temporary farewell and not a goodbye. In that case, I’ll return stronger than ever. I will always hold these colours in my heart, as I honoured and respected them.
"I thank the club, the technical staff and especially Walter (Sabatini), who supported me in my hardest moments.
"Above all I thank my teammates and wish them every success. For always, Forza Roma. Juan Manuel Iturbe."
