Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin was carted to the locker room during Saturday's game against the Houston Texans with a right knee injury.
Maclin was extremely emotional on the sidelines as he was being tended to by training staff. He was ruled out for the rest of Saturday's game by the team.
The veteran has suffered two torn ACLs during his six-year career, the latest costing him the entire 2013 season when he was a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.
During the Chiefs' 10-game win streak, Maclin gave the Kansas City a consistent receiving target that has been lacking since Andy Reid took over three seasons ago. Maclin finished 2015 with 1,088 yards and eight touchdowns.
