Reinhart notches hat trick, Kane tallies assist in victorious return to Winnipeg
Sam Reinhart registered a hat trick and Evander Kane collected an assist in his return to MTS Centre as the Buffalo Sabres snapped a six-game losing streak with a 4-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday.
Reinhart scored a pair of first-period goals and added an empty netter, on which Kane passed up a goal to feed his teammate and ice the win:

Kane's return started awkwardly when he slipped on a puck in the pregame warmup, and the winger was jeered by Jets fans all game long.

The 24-year-old logged over 21 minutes of ice time, second only to Ryan O'Reilly among Sabres forwards on Sunday.
Sabres goaltender Linus Ullmark made 42 saves on 44 shots, while Jets netminder Connor Hellebuyck allowed three goals on 28 shots, and suffered his first regulation loss in five games.
