The Colorado Rapids have selected Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Appiah out of the University of Cincinnati with the 15th pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft.

The 22-year-old defensive midfielder has made 65 appearances over five seasons with Cincinnati, scoring seven goals and recording 13 assists in that time.
