PHOTO: Brian Elliott's transformation into 'Cujo' complete with new mask
Brian Elliott is Curtis Joseph. Curtis Joseph is Brian Elliott.
The St. Louis Blues goaltender recently showed off his 'Cujo'-inspired goalie pads for Goalies Night, and on Friday revealed his '90s-era 'Cujo' mask.
What's cool about having some legends in town for goalies night? I get to wear this puppy...and auction it off later pic.twitter.com/0i5SZCOiNz

The back of the mask is almost as sweet:

"(Joseph's) mask when he was first here, with the two trumpets on top and the Blue Notes on the chin with the music sheet, it always stuck out in my head as a kid," Elliott told the Blues' website. "The rabid dog is his signature, so I didn't want to copy that one, but I wanted to pay tribute to him because I idolized him, and it looks cool, too."
Elliott will wear the mask and pads Saturday, on Goalies Night, against the Montreal Canadiens.
