Tweets fly as Scott named All-Star captain ... again
It doesn't get more NHL than the NHL's John Scott All-Star fiasco.
The lumbering enforcer was officially named captain of the Pacific Division at the All-Star Game - for the second time - on Tuesday, despite being traded last week to the Eastern Conference's Montreal Canadiens and banished to the AHL.
Twitter, of course, went bananas after the announcement. Here are some of the finer reactions:
The NHL got bullied by social media. They need2 hire an enforcer, like John Scott.

This John Scott thing definitely ends with his wife going into labor on January 30 and him missing everything to be there for the birth.

It's entirely possible that John Scott's last NHL "game" will be the NHL all-star game.

More said/written about '16 All Star Game than all others combined. Unexpected bonus from chaotic situation. But in the end; right decision.
