Saint-Etienne completes move for Rosenborg's Ole Selnaes
Rhone-Alpes side Saint-Etienne has dipped into the Norwegian top-flight for the second time during the January transfer window, this time signing midfielder Ole Selnaes from Rosenborg.
Selnaes, 21, joins Les Verts on a four-and-a-half-year deal, with the financial details of move undisclosed.
Christophe Galtier's lot has already signed striker Alexander Soderlund from Rosenborg earlier in the window.
"Alexander Soderlund is a good friend of mine and we have chatted about St Etienne," Selnaes told reporters Monday.
"He talked the club up and told me that everyone was happy here. He also told me about the good atmosphere and great fans."

Saint-Etienne supporters have already had one brush with the Norwegian defensive midfielder when Rosenborg visited the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard for a Europa League tilt in September.
"I can certainly say I've never seen fans like this before and I really can't wait to get started," Selnaes said.
