Kobe feels 'horrible' heading into All-Star break
For oft-injured Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant, the All-Star break couldn't come at a more perfect time.
Bryant's farewell tour has been far from ideal, with the Philadelphia native battling a number of injuries during what's been his worst statistical season since his teenage years.
The 37-year-old told ESPN's Baxter Holmes he currently feels "horrible. My ankles, knees, everything."
Bryant has been in and out of the lineup the entire season, missing 10 games due to a number of injuries, including a sore shoulder and Achilles.
The Lakers have been one of the worst teams in the NBA, further adding to Bryant's frustrations.
Bryant is averaging 16.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists this year, while shooting just 35 percent from the floor and 27.7 percent from beyond the arc. However, the 19-year veteran has been playing much better this month, averaging 25.2 points and six rebounds in February.
