Report: Bucks considered favorite to sign Steve Novak
Russ Isabella / USA TODAY Sports
The Milwaukee Bucks are considered the "overwhelming favorite" to sign forward Steve Novak after he clears waivers Sunday, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
Novak was waived by the Denver Nuggets on Friday - just a day after he was acquired in a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
In seven games with the Thunder, Novak averaged just 2.4 points, but shot 55.6 percent from beyond the arc.
While they're well out of the playoff picture, the Bucks rank 29th in 3-pointers made per game, and could use Novak's outside touch.
