Here are the shooting guard value rankings for Saturday, March 5:

Value Rankings

Top Options

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
James Harden (HOU) at CHI 9
Jimmy Butler (CHI) vs. HOU 8

Harden has been playing out of his mind, averaging 36 points, 6.4 rebounds and six assists per game in his lat five outings; the biggest question is whether he can return value against a high salary.

Butler is set to make his return from injury on Saturday. It doesn't appear as though his minutes will be under any sort of restriction, but there could be some rust to knock off before he's back at peak form. In any case, he's considerably cheaper than Harden and could make for a nice contrarian play.

Best of the Rest

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Andrew Wiggins (MIN) at BKN 7
Eric Gordon (NO) vs. UTA 7
Monta Ellis (IND) at WAS 7
Bradley Beal (WAS) vs. IND 6
Avery Bradley (BOS) at CLE 6
Zach LaVine (MIN) vs. BKN 6
Bojan Bogdanovic (BKN) at MIN 6

Wiggins has a very soft matchup against a weak Nets defense.

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
J.J. Redick (LAC) vs. ATL 5
Jamal Crawford (LAC) vs. ATL 5
Evan Turner (BOS) at CLE 5
Arron Afflalo (NY) vs. DET 5
Wayne Ellington (BKN) at MIN 5
J.R. Smith (NY) vs. BOS 4
Kyle Korver (ATL) at LAC 4
E'twaun Moore (CHI) vs. HOU 4
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (DET) at NY 4

Redick and Crawford offer similar average fantasy production. Redick is better suited to cash games while Crawford is a riskier selection with higher upside.

Nothing to See Here

NAME OPPONENT VALUE
Rodney Hood (UTA) at NO 3
Marco Belinelli (SAC) at SA 3
Langston Galloway (NY) vs. DET 2

Hood is listed as questionable after hitting his head in his previous game. Belinelli and Galloway have both been underperforming their fantasy expectations of late.
