After watching Connor McDavid score an overtime winner against him earlier in the month, Jack Eichel decided to bury one of his own Saturday.
Facing the Carolina Hurricanes, the 19-year-old scored his 21st goal of the season during the third period, and then added another in overtime after jumping on a loose puck and beating Cam Ward to lead his team to a 3-2 victory.
Eichel:"I like using that 5-hole move here and there...If you don’t score you look like an idiot but it’s nice it was able to sneak through"

After the first overtime winner of his career, Eichel now has five goals in his last six games.
With his 22nd goal of the season, Jack Eichel is now tied for 7th-most goals by a Sabres rookie (Peter McNab, Christian Ruuttu, John Tucker)

This, by the way, is so very cool.
