Here are theScore's shooting guard value rankings for Monday, March 21:

Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C

Top Options

Name Opponent Value
Zach LaVine (MIN) vs. GS 9
Devin Booker (PHX) vs. MEM 9
Khris Middleton (MIL) at DET 8
Klay Thompson (GS) at MIN 8
Jimmy Butler (CHI) at SAC 8
Lance Stephenson (MEM) at PHX 8

LaVine and Wiggins seem like unlikely choices to return value against an angry Warriors team, but both should be able to litter the stat sheet. LaVine's lower salary and his increasing playing time make him the best choice. Stephenson is the best offensive option on an absurdly depleted Memphis team.

Shooting guard is relatively thin on Monday. Butler's big question mark is centered around his minutes. He's been playing upwards of 34 in the four games since returning from injury, but that's not quite up to where he was. At his salary, he needs to play more and do more with the time than he has. The Kings' thin defense provides a good opportunity to take a flier on him.

Best of the Rest

Name Opponent Value
Andrew Wiggins (MIN) vs. GS 7
Victor Oladipo (ORL) at BOS 7
Nik Stauskas (PHI) at IND 7
Monta Ellis (IND) vs. PHI 6
Nicolas Batum (CHA) vs. SA 6

Oladipo has been the Orlando offense amidst their injuries. His upside keeps him near the top of the rankings and Boston's normally strong defense will still be missing SF Jae Crowder. Stauskas has seen his salary climb but it's still low enough that he doesn't need to do much to return value. He's not one of the top options, though, because of the risk of a dip in minutes.

Name Opponent Value
Gary Harris (DEN) at CLE 6
Hollis Thompson (PHI) at IND 6
Evan Turner (BOS) vs. ORL 5
Will Barton (DEN) at CLE 5
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (DET) vs. MIL 5

Denver's second, cheaper, unit has been providing better fantasy returns. As Barton struggles, Harris is the better option. Thompson will be the first to benefit if Stauskas doesn't see the appropriate amount of minutes.

Nothing to See Here

Name Opponent Value
Vince Carter (MEM) at PHX 4
Bradley Beal (WAS) at ATL 3
J.R. Smith (CLE) vs. DEN 3
Evan Fournier (ORL) at BOS 3
Danny Green (SA) at CHA 2

This is how Green does it. He plays a couple of decent games in a row and then has a complete dud. Don't get swept up in a turn around until he strings together a few more games. Carter can't be counted on. Like most of the Grizzlies' roster, he's an injury risk and did not perform in his first game back.
