Monday's Small Forward Value Rankings

Brian Spurlock / USA TODAY Sports

Here are theScore's small forward value rankings for Monday, March 21:

Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C

Top Options

Name Opponent Value
Paul George (IND) vs. PHI 10
LeBron James (CLE) vs. DEN 8
Lance Stephenson (MEM) at PHX 8
Marcus Morris (DET) vs. MIL 8
Otto Porter (WAS) at ATL 8

George is less expensive than either James or Giannis Antetokounmpo and has the softest matchup of the three. He annihilated the 76ers last time and has one of the highest, most consistent floors in all of DFS. Stephenson is likely the only Memphis player worth rostering outside of the frontcourt. A big change from his role in Los Angeles.

Morris will cost less than teammate Tobias Harris and has been a little steadier. Harris has the higher ceiling while Morris has a more consistent floor. Porter comes at a bargain, so the matchup doesn't feel as daunting. He put together a solid line last time against Atlanta, too. If he comes close to it, he'll be a savvy GPP play.

Best of the Rest

Name Opponent Value
Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL) at DET 7
Tobias Harris (DET) vs. MIL 7
P.J. Tucker (PHX) vs. MEM 7
Andrew Wiggins (MIN) vs. GS 7
Nicolas Batum (CHA) vs. SA 6

At his salary, Antetokounmpo is only worth a tournament flier against the Pistons' defense. He's been on a remarkable roll, though. Tucker is inconsistent. He is a pure matchup play against the wounded Grizzlies.

Name Opponent Value
Kent Bazemore (ATL) vs. WAS 6
Mirza Teletovic (PHX) vs. MEM 6
Kawhi Leonard (SA) at CHA 6
Rudy Gay (SAC) at CHI 6
Evan Turner (BOS) at ORL 5

Teletovic has played fewer than 25 minutes in two straight after unloading on Minnesota. He is a combined 1-for-9 from 3-point range in that time. Leonard is always a risk to be rested. He's been hitting higher totals of late, but he's prone to drops in production, especially as his salary returns to its former lofty heights.

Nothing to See Here

Name Opponent Value
Harrison Barnes (GS) at MIN 4
Jerami Grant (PHI) at IND 4
Tony Allen (MEM) at PHX 4
Nikola Mirotic (CHI) vs. SAC 3
Evan Fournier (ORL) at BOS 3

Grant is likely in the clear from his concussion, but it's better to play it safe. He's a GPP contrarian option. Allen should be producing more considering the state of the team's injury report, but he's not consistent enough. Barnes is the fourth option in Golden State. There are better choices.
