Monday's Power Forward Value Rankings
Here are theScore's power forward value rankings for Monday, March 21:
Value Rankings
PG | SG | SF | PF | C
Top Options
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Draymond Green (GS) | at MIN | 10 |
Zach Randolph (MEM) | at PHX | 9 |
DeMarcus Cousins (SAC) | at CHI | 8 |
Nerlens Noel (PHI) | at IND | 8 |
JaMychal Green (MEM) | at PHX | 8 |
Pay up for Draymond Green and save on JaMychal Green. Randolph is the better GPP play as his production is all over the map. He seems healthy, though, and the Suns shouldn't put up much of a fight. Cousins is Cousins. He'll drain your budget, but he'll deliver.
Best of the Rest
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Paul Millsap (ATL) | vs. WAS | 7 |
LaMarcus Aldridge (SA) | at CHA | 7 |
Myles Turner (IND) | vs. PHI | 7 |
Gorgui Dieng (MIN) | vs. GS | 6 |
Taj Gibson (CHI) | vs. SAC | 6 |
Millsap is a solid cash-game selection, but he'll rarely blow DFS owners away. Aldridge is the same way. His early season fluctuations have normalized. He's fairly productive on any given night. Turner is an intriguing option at a very low salary against a team that has struggled to limit anyone's successes.
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Markieff Morris (WAS) | at ATL | 6 |
Aaron Gordon (ORL) | at BOS | 6 |
Alex Len (PHX) | vs. MEM | 6 |
Tristan Thompson (CLE) | vs. DEN | 6 |
Jared Sullinger (BOS) | vs. ORL | 6 |
Thompson is a high-risk bargain play. He won't cost much but he puts together the odd big game. If Kenneth Faried doesn't play, or is limited, Thompson could be in for a big game. Gordon has played remarkably well against the Celtics this year, but his overall production is still too sporadic.
Nothing to See Here
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Kevin Love (CLE) | vs. DEN | 4 |
Kenneth Faried (DEN) | at CLE | 4 |
Jabari Parker (MIL) | at DET | 4 |
Marvin Williams (CHA) | vs. SA | 3 |
Nikola Mirotic (CHI) | vs. SAC | 3 |
Love's potential might convince DFS owners that he's worth a flier. Other than that monster game against the Dallas Mavericks when SF LeBron James sat out, he hasn't been consistent enough to pay for. He's seen his minutes decline and was in early foul trouble. Avoid him until he rights the ship.
