Bargain Plays: Another Bout of Linsanity in Brooklyn?

Sam Sharpe / USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

Here are the top sleeper picks for Tuesday's four-game slate.

PG Jeremy Lin, Hornets (at Nets)

Lin's up-and-down production of late has caused his DFS salary to drop from the lower mid-range to near minimum levels. He's posted two strong games in a row, however, including 29 points and seven rebounds in Monday's upset of the Spurs.

With just six points in 30 minutes, starting point guard Kemba Walker had an uncharacteristically poor game, and will likely bounce back Tuesday against the Nets. There's still enough minutes and shots to go around for both Lin and Walker, and given the favorable matchup and Lin's low price, the ex-Knick only needs to come close to his season averages (11.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists) to provide satisfactory value.

SG Sean Kilpatrick, Nets (vs. Hornets)

The 26-year-old Kilpatrick seems to have found a home in Brooklyn after being let go by the Nuggets in February. He's provided strong production off the bench in nine games as a Net, and earned himself a multi-year contract extension last week.

Available at the minimum price or close to it on most DFS sites, Kilpatrick has been remarkably consistent, playing 20 or more minutes in eight of those nine games, while scoring in double figures seven times. With three efforts of 19 points, he has some explosive potential, too.

The 6-foot-4 New York-native doesn't provide a whole lot of rebounds or assists, but offers a reliable level of offensive production as he auditions for a bigger role next season.

PF Donatas Motiejunas, Rockets (at Thunder)

Motiejunas offers some cut-price exposure to what could be the highest-scoring game of Tuesday's small slate. He has been a strong performer of late, with three efforts of at least 13 points and six rebounds in his last four games.

Despite a starting role on the NBA's fourth highest scoring team, Motiejunas' DFS price is surprisingly low; three games of single-digit minutes in his last 10 are likely to blame. As noted above, his production seems to be on the upswing as he recovers from a back injury that cost him much of the season and resulted in the annulment of a trade to the Pistons.
