Top Options
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Pau Gasol (CHI) | vs. NY | 10 |
Jusuf Nurkic (DEN) | vs. PHI | 9 |
Andre Drummond (DET) | vs. ORL | 9 |
Karl-Anthony Towns (MIN) | vs. SAC | 9 |
Nikola Jokic (DEN) | vs. PHI | 9 |
Gasol's very reasonably priced on such a heavy slate. He scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in just 25 minutes in his first game back from injury. His minutes restriction is likely to increase, or even disappear, ahead of a very favorable matchup. Jokic and Nurkic are each returning near-elite value, despite splitting time pretty similarly. Favor Nurkic due to lower salary.
Towns has the workload and ability to return value at an elite price, as does Drummond. Both have favorable matchups, with a slight edge given to Drummond as the Magic are without C Nikola Vucevic.
Best of the Rest
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Dwight Howard (HOU) | vs. UTA | 8 |
Al Horford (ATL) | at WAS | 7 |
Bismack Biyombo (TOR) | at BOS | 6 |
Marcin Gortat (WAS) | vs. ATL | 6 |
Marreese Speights (GS) | vs. LAC | 6 |
Mason Plumlee (POR) | vs. DAL | 6 |
While Howard's scoring has been inconsistent of late, he continues to fill the stat sheet with rebounds. He collected 17 boards Saturday and has grabbed double-digit rebounds in nine of his last 10 games. He does need to take more shots, but there should be plenty of misses for him to collect on Wednesday.
Horford dominated the Wizards on Monday, but owners should be more hesitant as he goes on the road. Biyombo continues to be a strong option thanks to his lofty rebounding numbers, however, his price is rising a little too high for his inconsistent point totals. Speights will again benefit if in a starting role.
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Salah Mejri (DAL) | at POR | 5 |
Dewayne Dedmon (ORL) | at DET | 5 |
Alex Len (PHX) | vs. LAL | 5 |
Greg Monroe (MIL) | at CLE | 5 |
Timofey Mozgov (CLE) | vs. MIL4 | 5 |
DeAndre Jordan (LAC) | at GS | 4 |
Jared Sullinger (BOS) | vs. TOR | 4 |
After playing just a single minute in two of his past three games, Mejri played 33 minutes in Monday's overtime win, posting 13 points and 14 rebounds, while adding six blocks. His workload is inconsistent, but a performance like that should earn him a larger role moving forward. Dedmon's been starting, providing a higher floor, but his ceiling has been quite low.
Len's been held below 10 points in three of his past four games, and below 10 rebounds in each of his past two outings. Monroe has two double-doubles in his past three games, but his season averages in points and rebounds have been trending downward for some time.
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Hassan Whiteside (MIA) | at SA | 3 |
Robin Lopez (NY) | at CHI | 3 |
Kelly Olynyk (BOS) | vs. TOR | 3 |
Aron Baynes (DET) | vs. ORL | 3 |
Tim Duncan (SA) | vs. MIA | 3 |
Rudy Gobert (UTA) | at HOU | 2 |
Miles Plumlee (MIL) | at CLE | 2 |
Whiteside's played fewer than 30 minutes in each of his past two games. He's made six field goals in each of his past three, while attempting no more than 10 in a game. He's been returning value, but he has his toughest matchup yet, in San Antonio. Lopez had 23 points and 20 rebounds in his most recent game against the Kings. Avoid recency bias as he should return to standard form against Gasol.
Olynyk relies too much on his 3-point shooting to return value. He went 4-for-6 from beyond the arc in his most recent game, but he had gone just 1-for-10 over his previous three.
Nothing to See Here
Name | Opponent | Value |
---|---|---|
Jonas Valanciunas (TOR) | at BOS | 1 |
Willie Cauley-Stein (SAC) | at MIN | 1 |
Tyson Chandler (PHX) | vs. LAL | 1 |
Zaza Pachulia (DAL) | at POR | 1 |
Andrew Bogut (GS) | vs. LAC | 1 |
All five have injury concerns. Valanciunas was "active" in each of the Raptors' past two games, but he didn't play. Even if he does suit up on Wednesday, he should be faded until his role returns to normal.
