VIDEO: Westbrook didn't appreciate Jackson celebrating win over Thunder
With Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka getting Tuesday night off to rest, All-Star guard Russell Westbrook was left to carry the load for the Oklahoma City Thunder in a 88-82 road loss to the Detroit Pistons.
To make matters worse, Reggie Jackson - a former teammate of Westbrook's for four seasons in OKC - openly celebrated the Pistons' win before the final buzzer by pandering to the crowd and raising his arms in victory.
"I thought it was some real bullshit for our team and our organization, I don't like it at all," Westbrook said after the game about Jackson's actions. "But it is what it is. We'll see him down the line. We'll take care of that when we get there."
Jackson's tenure with the Thunder was tumultuous at best, with his desire to be a starter fragmenting several relationships in the locker room.
"Doesn't really matter to be honest with you," Westbrook added about how Jackson's run with the team ended. "He wasn't changing nothing for us. Obviously he didn't want to be here. He's at a better spot. He's not doing too much of a difference if you ask me. He's gonna stay over in Detroit. We gonna stay over here and we'll see them next season."
