Geno Smith responds to Joe Namath's criticism
Geno Smith was questioned by the most legendary player in New York Jets history Sunday, and he couldn't help but respond.
Smith started Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens but had just eight pass attempts before he had to leave the game with a leg injury. Despite the malady, Smith was spotted standing on the sidelines for the rest of the game, something Hall of Famer Joe Namath took issue with.
If you've got a right knee injury keeping you out of the game why are you standing on the sideline the entire 2nd half? How bad can it be?

Smith heard about the criticism, and sent a message to Joe through Twitter.
Somebody tell Joe that the doctors have the final say on whether you can or cannot get back into the game...... and also that I love him!

The Jets' quarterback situation is an absolute mess as Ryan Fitzpatrick said after he led New York to victory Sunday that the owner, general manager, and coaches have stopped believing in him.
