Alex Smith's wife calls out weatherman who thinks Nick Foles is better
Alex Smith had a rough day Sunday - leaving the game twice to be evaluated for concussion - but his wife had his back.
When the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was replaced by Nick Foles against the Indianapolis Colts, local weatherman Gary Lezak had no concern for Smith's health. He was too excited to see Foles.
Nick Foles for the @Chiefs once threw 7 TD passes in one NFL game and he had one of the rare perfect QB ratings in a game. Go Chiefs!

When Foles hit receiver Tyreek Hill for 34-yard touchdown, Lezak started chirping the injured Smith.
That play does NOT happen with Alex Smith! TD @Chiefs

After that, Smith's wife, Elizabeth Smart, had heard enough from the meteorologist.
@glezak @Chiefs Do yourself and everyone else a favor. Stick to what you know. It's embarrassing.

She also wasn't pleased with the officials as they failed to call a penalty on the hit that injured her husband.
How many hits does he have to take before a flag is thrown. Funny when some QB's gets tapped flags go flying.
