Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Chris Boswell set a new NFL postseason record with his sixth field goal in Sunday's divisional-round win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Boswell accounted for the Steelers' first 18 points in the game, making kicks from 22, 38, 36, 45, 43, and 43 yards.
The previous record was five field goals in a playoff game, shared by multiple kickers.
Boswell's kicks accounted for all of the Steelers' points on the day, proving to be the difference in the 18-16 final score.
The 25-year-old also kicked six field goals in a December game against the Cincinnati Bengals and was "randomly" selected for drug testing by the NFL that week. He could be subject to another such test this week.
