Report: NFL to review Colin Kaepernick flag

The NFL is looking into whether San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was justifiably penalized for using inappropriate language during Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears, Ed Werder of ESPN reports.

Kaepernick was flagged following his second interception, and could be seen trash-talking with Bears defensive end Lamarr Houston.

"I didn't say anything," Kaepernick said after the game.

49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh told reporters Monday that he did not receive an explanation for the penalty and would like clarification from the league.

"Yeah, we'd like that," Harbaugh said. "Find out about that."
