Report: Buccaneers' Doug Martin likely out Thursday

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin is expected to sit out of Thursday's matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

Martin is officially listed as questionable with a knee injury, but according to Rapoport, the Bucs are considered about the artificial surface at the Georgia Dome.

However, the team plans to have Martin test his injured knee on the field before coming to a final decision, Rapoport reports.

If Martin is unable to play, Bobby Rainey will likely get the start.
