Sunday Updates
- Arian Foster is ranked third, but reports Sunday morning are suggesting he might not play due to a hamstring injury. If he is ruled out, rookie Alfred Blue would jump up into the 20's.
- Bernard Pierce may also be forced to sit out Week 3 due to a thigh injury. If that were to happen, Justin Forsett would climb 10 spots or so, with Lorenzo Taliaferro also finding his way into the bottom portion of the rankings.
- It's been a chaotic start to the year for the Redskins offense, but one thing that remains consistent is Alfred Morris. Washington's lead back hasn't received much national praise, but he had 91 yards in Week 1, followed by 85 yards and a pair of scores in Week 2. Morris should continue his strong start against a middling Eagles run defense on Sunday.
- Chris Johnson takes a tumble down the rankings heading into his Monday night matchup with the Bears. Johnson is coming off a 12-carry, 21-yard performance in Week 2 and is part of a timeshare in the Jets backfield with Chris Ivory. So far, Ivory appears to be the better running back and that will be the case on Monday night as well.
- Maurice Jones-Drew isn't expected to play on Sunday, which means Darren McFadden, Latavius Murray, and Marcel Reece will share the Raiders backfield. McFadden should see most of the touches, but there isn't a lot of value in Oakland's running game at the moment.
