Cardinals move to 3-0 with victory over division-rival 49ers

The Arizona Cardinals moved to 3-0, defeating NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers 23-14.
Cardinals rookie sensation John Brown caught two touchdown passes, and quarterback Drew Stanton was efficient in leading the Cardinals' offense to victory.

- San Francisco's second-half woes continue to plague the team. After jumping out to a 14-6 halftime lead, the Cardinals scored 17 unanswered points.
- The 49ers are last in the league in fourth quarter points; in fact, they've yet to score in the fourth quarter at all this season.
- Wide receiver Brown continued to be as good as advertised, giving the 49ers fits with his game-breaking speed. The emerging star has three touchdowns in three games.
- Drew Stanton was efficient going for 18-of-33 with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Michael Floyd also had a huge game for the Cardinals with five catches for 114 yards.
- Penalties killed the 49ers on Sunday, as they committed nine infractions for 107 yards.
- Cardinals free safety Tony Jefferson was all over the field, recording 10 tackles and a sack.
- With the loss, the 49ers are now 1-2 and trail the Cardinals by two games in the NFC West.
