Vikings' Bridgewater diagnosed with ankle sprain; expected to start Thursday vs. Packers

Teddy Bridgewater may have sat out the final minutes of his breakout performance against the Atlanta Falcons with an ankle sprain Sunday night, but it doesn't look as though the ailment will keep him out of next week's showdown with division rival Green Bay Packers:

X-rays on Bridgewater's ankle were negative, and he'll undergo an MRI sometime this week to make sure there's no structural damage.

The 21-year-old rookie was electric before his exit, completing 19-of-30 passes for 317 yards, while adding another 27 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
