Cowboys' Bruce Carter exits game vs. Saints with quad injury

The Dallas Cowboys defense is seriously shorthanded with injuries and salary cap constraints severely limiting the talent on the roster.
With injuries hitting the linebacking corps especially hard, the latest player to go down hurts an awful lot.
While chasing down New Orleans Saints running back Khiry Robinson, Carter pulled up and fell to the ground in apparent distress. He required help to get off the field.

Carter was having a strong game before going down, racking up six tackles and two passes defended.
