Brees isn't about to panic despite slow start

Undeterred by a disappointing 1-3 start, Drew Brees doesn't think it's time for fans to panic.

Brees had the perfect answer Wednesday when a reporter asked if they could bring up another "panicked mob question" during the quarterback's press conference.

"Sure," Brees said with a laugh, according to ESPN. "Let's go. The sky is falling."

With the type of offensive firepower the New Orleans Saints possess, many fans assumed the team would be sitting higher in the NFC South. Brees, however, is confident that if New Orleans keeps doing the right things, success will eventually come.

"We're not trying to create problems here," he said. "Just because everybody wants to know, ‘What the heck's going on? What's wrong? Why are you 1-3? The sky is falling. Oh my gosh.' Hey, we're gonna keep doing what we do. Yes there are areas where we can get better, absolutely. But we're also gonna continue on the path that we started this offseason."
