Tony Romo on Jason Witten: 'He might be the best Dallas Cowboy of all-time'
Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten received a shining endorsement Wednesday from quarterback Tony Romo.
"He might be the best Dallas Cowboy of all-time," Romo said of his teammate, according to ESPN.com. "Literally, his career has been exceptional. He's hit every mark you could ever have and he's going to go down as the first- or second-greatest tight end of all-time. I've just been lucky enough to play with him."
Witten has built quite the résumé during his 12 years with the Cowboys, attending nine Pro Bowls and setting the NFL single-season record for receptions by a tight end with 110.
On Sunday, he accomplished another milestone, joining Tony Gonzalez and Shannon Sharpe as the only tight ends in NFL history to surpass 10,000 receiving yards.
