Report: Josh Gordon avoids suspension after plea deal
Cleveland Browns receiver Josh Gordon can move forward this season without having to worry about missing more time for past infractions.
He was reportedly fined by the NFL after a September guilty plea on DUI charges stemming from a July arrest in North Carolina, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
The plea allowed the receiver to receive a fine under the NFL's old substance-abuse policy and avoid a two-game ban under the newly-formed policy.
