Report: Aldon Smith was drinking with Ray McDonald after alleged sexual assault

The San Francisco 49ers may finally lose their patience with troubled outside linebacker Aldon Smith.

Former 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald allegedly sexually assaulted a woman on Dec. 13, and Smith spent the next day drinking with McDonald and the alleged victim, according to a report from the San Jose Mercury News' Tracey Kaplan. 

Smith's presence was detailed in a search warrant affidavit, according to Kaplan. The 25-year-old star is under probation for a DUI and weapons charges. 

McDonald was released by the 49ers on Dec. 17.
