Report: Packers still trying to re-sign Randall Cobb before free agency

The Green Bay Packers haven't given up on efforts to re-sign wide receiver Randall Cobb ahead of free agency, Jason Wilde of ESPN Wisconsin reports.
Cobb caught a career-high 91 receptions for 1,287 yards and 12 touchdowns last season and figures to be a hot commodity if the Packers allow him to hit the open market. At this point, though, that seems unlikely.
During the scouting combine, the Packers told representatives for their other free agents that, as of right now, their focus is on Cobb and right tackle Bryan Bulaga, according to Wilde.
Green Bay reached a deal with cornerback Sam Shields in the final hours before free agency began last year and Wilde speculates that could be the case again this year with Cobb.
